Don’t let the idea of having to give up food scare you out of learning how to detox at home. Yes, there are detox plans that exclude food and require you to drink various herbal teas and mixtures, but there are also plans that let you ease into detox that include food. The liquid plans are fine as long as you are careful to go into them gradually, but a detox at home plan that includes healthy foods can work for you, too.

How To Detox at Home – The Guidelines

The main foods you will eat on a gentle detox plan are fruits and vegetables. Do not eat potatoes, corn or bananas. All other vegetables are acceptable and can be eaten in unlimited quantities. If you like peas, include them as a legume. All of your starches should come from legumes and whole grains. Be sure to clean all fruit and vegetables before you eat them or put them in the juicer. Leave the skins on when it makes sense to do so.

There are many different ways to prevent yeast infection. The simplest way is to be more aware of your hygiene and living a healthy life. In these instances many potential infections can be avoided along with the associated pain that comes with it. For this reason it’s to your advantage that you be aware of and practice yeast infection prevention techniques. Prevention of a potentially painful or irritating condition is far better than having to apply a remedy.

Yeast thrives in a moist and warm environment. This explains why the vaginal area is a prime location for yeast infections to occur. It would be wise to keep the genital area as dry as possible. Drying off well after swimming, bathing or exercising is an important thing to do. Be sure to dry the area as well as possible. Remove wet clothing right away. Do not provide any opportunity for yeast to take hold.
