It is the rare individual that loves mosquitoes. Not only is that buzzing noise and subsequent bite annoying, it can lead to far more than just an itchy bite. Yes, mosquitoes carry some very nasty, deadly diseases that can even kill you.
Mosquitoes have a unique ability to carry many of the most vicious and nasty diseases without actually being effected. Instead, they inject you with them. This occurs when the mosquito pierces your skin and injects saliva that numbs the bite area.
Mosquitoes and malaria are two words that just go together. Malaria is a huge problem world wide with 300 million cases reported annually. South America, Africa and Asia are the primary infection zones each year.
As the mosquito bites you, the Malaria parasite enters your blood stream and heads to the liver where it reproduces. Dehydration can lead to death, but symptoms usually stop with fever, fatigue, diarrhea and shaking.
A step up from Malaria is Dengue Fever. Dengue used to be fairly isolated, but has now spread to over 100 countries through Africa and Asia thanks to the friendly mosquito. There is no cure to the disease and there is an aggressive version that kills.

Low to no carb diets are said to be even more effective than low fat diets in weight loss according to some studies. However, you must be cautious because these diets can have some very negative side effects.
If I cut carbs will I lose weight? First, you must understand that not all carbs are the same. They have all been banded together but some carbs are necessary for a healthy and fulfilled lifestyle. How can one differentiate between a good carb and a bad one? Well. lets go back to basics. Sugars, or simple carbohydrates, are one of the two basic types of carbohydrates. Next, the Starches, also referred to as complex carbohydrates.
These carbs take time to be digested, that’s the big difference. Simple carbohydrates are digested rapidly, whereas digestion takes place more slowly for complex carbohydrates.
Many foods that contain simple carbohydrates, like pizza, chocolate and cakes also contain a lot of added sugar. Though contrary to popular belief you cannot get the same results eating apples, bananas, grapes, & raisins. They may not be complex carbs, but they are efficient in that they supply essential nutrients and vitamins.

The best thing about infrared saunas in my mind is that I can stay I there for at least half an hour and still be able to breathe. I am slightly claustrophobic, so if I have trouble breathing, I’m going to be out of there in a hurry. Because of this, I have a hard time with traditional saunas.
I often do in a regular style sauna. Having just a touch of claustrophobia, I start to get a little panicky if I can’t breathe – so an infrared sauna is definitely an improvement.
The biggest part of the health benefits offered by a sauna is that it makes you sweat, which helps your body to eliminate toxins through the skin – your largest organ. A good sweat helps keep your skin soft and supple.
Sweating is the single biggest health benefit offered by saunas – sweating is one of the best methods of detoxification. Our skins are our largest organs and they can eliminate toxins through sweating. Sweating also helps your skin stay soft and supple, a definite plus.
