Arthritis, which is a condition that affects one in three adult Americans, is one that affects the bone joints in the body. Because there is no cure, many sufferers are forced to cope with it’s painful effects. Arthritis in the knee is one of the common ailments and can make it difficult to walk, bend the leg or even sleep at night.

Osteoarthritis is often the result of increased strain on the joint due to weight, or repeated injury or damage. Knee arthritis is definitely more common in middle aged to elderly persons. A younger sufferer of knee arthritis has usually inherited the condition- it does have a genetic disposition, or it can be the after affect of a serious knee injury- more common in sports men- specifically footballers. Rheumatoid arthritis is more common in younger people for this reason.

The latest in surgical fat removal or lipoplasty is laser liposuction. The use of a laser has several advantages over the traditional method which uses a needle to suck out the fat cells under your skin.

Before the surgery starts a local anesthesia is applied to the targeted area. Thereafter the cosmetic surgeon puts a cannula under your skin in order to be able to suck out the melted fat.

The surgeon can work fast and efficiently with the laser and the procedure can be done in just 30 minutes for a small area. An extensive laser liposuction for a bigger area of your body can also take two hours.

Depending on how long the surgery lasts, how much fat was removed and on how many different areas of your body it was applied, the costs can range between $1,000 for smaller areas to $10,000 for an extensive fat removal surgery.

The advantage with laser lipo is that it can be used for many different areas of your body. There are popular areas like the thighs and the stomach area but there are also more sensible areas which are great for the laser like the neck, arms or even the face.

You have good memories that can make you feel good to think about as well as bad memories that can make you feel bad. Everyone has these memories and everyone’s memories affect how they live.

Our mind stores all of our memories and they’re always active, just not in a way our conscious mind is aware of. Because of this, we can constantly be affected by the emotions in our memories. Even memories you don’t think you ‘remember’.

The strong emotion associated with memories can cause disorders such as depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. The emotions can also cause more normal life problems, such as anger, stress, sadness, or fear.

The most popular way to deal with these sorts of problems is prescription medication. But, medication only tries to help the ‘symptoms’ instead of treating the ’cause’. Long term results are usually just long term symptom management.

The key to long term help with these issues would appear to be the emotional association with the memory. What would happen if that association could be erased, reduced or even changed?
