French women know how to stay slim, lose weight, fat loss and weight loss is not part of their vocabulary; they have just stayed with their lifestyle that’s been working for centuries, and of course, common sense.
They eat a large variety of unprocessed meat, dairy, bread, vegetables and fruit, and the key to all of this is portion size.
It’s important for your body to vary your food selections for each meal because different foods contain different minerals and vitamins that are important for a well rounded diet.
Your main source of protein for each meal should not be larger than a one third of a pound and should be eaten with a nice salad and vegetable.
If you have ever watched diners at an outside French Cafe, then you have noticed that most of the locals will order one desert for the whole table then share it. This is also a part of the French diet. You can have your cheese cake and eat it, too, but only a small sliver of it. Obviously, if you eat a lot of these foods, it is not going to assist you in your fat loss and weight loss diet. The secret is to keep your portions as small as possible.

Caralluma Fimbriata. Almost no one has even heard of it and those who have may be asking just what the heck it is. The first thought for most people is just another fad diet gimmick. But is it? Could it be pure gold in the world of weight loss? Let’s find out.
Caralluma Fimbriata is a succulent plant belonging to the cactus family. It is found mainly in India and the surrounding areas and grows wild there.
In India where it is most popular, it has been eaten by locals for hundreds of years and probably longer. The plants green follicles are most often boiled and salted before being eaten although it can be eaten raw as well. It is also made into chutney’s and used in making pickles as well.
The locals who eat this vegetable found it contained certain properties that acted like a natural appetite and diet suppressant while at the same time boosting their energy level and quenching their thirst. For this reason Caralluma has always been used as a portable hunting food and also became known locally as a “famine food” and used extensively in the drier, more arid regions of India.
