It is only been in the last few years that the medical community has begun to recognize binge eating as an eating disorder. Although many people are familiar with bulimia, which is recognized when a person binge eats and then purges their system afterwards. With eating disorders like binge eating the pattern of actually trying to get rid of what they have eaten is completely removed from the equation and so makes it a completely different condition altogether.
For this reason, alone many people do not actually consider this to be an actual eating disorder. Rather what they see it as is a person’s own choice of what they do with the food they eat and their bodies.
Yet even though when bingeing and person is not either starving themselves or placing their health under serious risk through the use of laxatives or from vomiting. This particular eating disorder can still cause serious repercussions where a person’s health is concerned.

So, it’s not a big news flash to us that dimples are only cute if they’re on the cheeks on YOUR FACE. The dimples that we get on our butts, thighs, and hips have a name – Cellulite. Yuck, right?
Well, there are ways to learn how to get rid of cellulite, but what I want to focus on is what doesn’t work. All too often we see products advertised that promise to rid us of our cellulite and make us look like the latest Hollywood star! Most of the time, they are fake! Here are some of those things that do not work.
Creams and Lotions – Yes, they tell us that we can learn how to get rid of cellulite by simply rubbing on their products. Not going to happen! What they may do is give us a temporary shrinkage of the fat cells, but they will return, like a bad ex-boyfriend.
Body Wraps – These could give you a temporary fix, but again, it’s temporary. Very temporary. In fact, body wraps may not even be good for your health. If you ever see an advertisement for a body wrap, do yourself a favor and turn off the TV.

When you think of aloe vera, you probably think of a spiny, desert-like plant. While aloe vera is an odd looking plant and it’s true that many people don’t find it particularly attractive to look at, aloe vera is also one of the oldest medicinal plants in the history.
One use of aloe vera is in treating intestinal upsets. Dr. Jeffrey Bland of the Linus Pauling Institute has done research on the benefits of aloe vera on the intestinal tract. Notwithstanding the many popular texts that point to aspects of lifestyle and eating particular foods, the real underlying reasons for heartburn encompass a larger selection of factors with genetic, lifestyle and dietary elements. Just like other chronic illnesses, heartburn is a result of overlapping and multiple causes.
Heartburn can be defined as the sensation of burning and of pain in the chest or throat area that is often felt after eating a meal. Although healthy people may experience such a feeling once per week or less, if heartburn occurs twice per week or more frequently, this may be a sign of a more severe medical condition called acid reflux disease, and also known as GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease).
GERD comes about because of two physiological problems: the first is excess acidity in the stomach; and the second is a weakened sphincter (LES, Lower Esophageal Sphincter) which no longer acts properly to block off the stomach from the esophagus. Normally, the LES only opens to let food and drink flow into the intestinal system and should not let gastric juices escape backwards. Nevertheless, in reflux situations, the LES is debilitated and stomach contents can reflux or splash back to the esophagus, corroding the lining and causing the feeling of pain.

When choosing a diet program, the food list can be a deciding factor for many people. Diets that have a long list of forbidden foods will be difficult and usually end in failure. The South Beach Diet is not that kind of diet.

In our fast pace, always on the go, money-driven society our bodies really start to take a toll in the workplace.
It is unfortunate that most people have no clue how to deal with the stress that keeps coming into their lives. For this reason, it is important to find ways to relieve stress.
One of the best ways to release some pent-up tension is to exercise. If you can walk at least four days a week for a minimum of 15 minutes each time, you are helping your body better cope with stressful demands.
Exercise helps you produce endorphins and get rid of adrenaline. This will ultimately help you feel better (and most likely look better).
Some people swear by yoga to relieve stress, however it is not my first choice.
I would much rather punch a punching bag then stretch, breath deep and focus on the ‘inner me.’ Don’t just take my word for it though, go with the type of exercise that you like best.
People that use yoga as a stress-reliever say that the breathing techniques and exercises help you connect with the universe on a whole new level.
