The older we get it seems like the older our skin looks. More wrinkles appear all the time. To practice prevention of this aging problem, we have to learn how to keep this from happening. So let’s study why this condition can happen when we age. I will also talk about some treatments for this condition.

The epidermis or top layer of skin becomes less dense with age. This occurs when the epidermal cells lose their ability to bond. This also causes the skin to retain less moisture. Production of these cells also slows down making it harder for the skin to repair itself. One of the many things that happen because of this is wrinkles. The epidermal is not the only layer that affects this though the dermal layer can also age.
