Insomnia is not as rare of an occurrence as you might have believed it to be. The foregoing notwithstanding, for the vast majority of sufferers, the bouts of insomnia are few and far between and almost always only temporary in nature. Those suffering with this form of insomnia are able to directly tie it to a life changing event, a worrisome situation, or simply an annoyance that keeps them awake.
Those Americans who suffer from continuous insomnia that lasts longer than just a few nights during a stressful event, may ultimately struggle with a lack of sleep for weeks. Sometimes the insomnia is so severe it can last for months or years! Those who suffer with chronic and long lasting insomnia understand the side effects clearly and know what they mean to their life.
Determining what type of insomnia you are suffering from is the first step to dealing with the side effects of the condition. There are generally three different types of insomnia and all sufferers fall into one of the three categories. Some will be able to not fall asleep at all, some will fall asleep but will wake every few hours and other will be able to sleep for three hours but then wake for the rest of the night.

Weight loss diet is all about creating healthy eating habits. There is nothing called quick weight loss diet as weight lost slowly is healthy and fat loss is best achieved when weight is lost slowly. Imagine how did you gain weight? Did you gain it overnight? Certainly not, do not aim to lose it overnight also.
The first thing that needs a change is unreachable goals, they need to be replaced with real ones. Weight loss becomes extremely difficult when you feel like you are depriving yourself. This becomes a struggling experience instead of being an exciting and positive experience. This mental aspect becomes more important because, healthy weight loss is more an integral approach of body and mind than being merely physical.
Weight loss is recommended for individuals who weigh more than the recommended guidelines. Weight loss is yet another example of ‘slow and steady’ winning the race. Rather than trying to drop a size by tomorrow, set a goal of 1 to 2 pounds (no more than 1 kg) per week. Weight loss is often treated as a “quick fix” or short-term goal. Yet weight loss is a health and fitness issue, which is a lifestyle issue, one that is quite manageable if handled right.

Insomnia is more common than you may think. Fortunately, those who suffer usually do so in sporadic episodes that don’t last for very long. Those with temporary suffering can typically relate their insomnia to a life event, a situation that causes great worry or an annoying situation that prevents them from sleeping.
Those who deal with insomnia that lasts longer than a few nights here and there, may struggle with the problem for weeks. Sometimes, persistent insomnia can go on for months or years! Those who are familiar with chronic insomnia know exactly how bothersome the side effects of insomnia can actually be.
Prior to dealing with the side effects of insomnia, determining the kind from which the individual suffers is a key component. Generally speaking, there are three major kinds of insomnia and sufferers usually consistently fall into one category. They either fail to fall asleep at all; they may fall asleep but awaken again intermittently every hour or two, or lastly they may fall asleep and remain asleep for a period of three hours or slightly more, only to awaken after that time and not find it possible to return to sleep.
